Recipe servings calculator
How can I rescale my whole ingredient list?
Change the serving count once and rescale every ingredient, keeping your own names and units.
Your ingredient list
Fractions are welcome: enter 0.5, not 1/2. Use a decimal point or e notation. Unit labels are kept without conversion.
Rescaled amount
Displayed results use up to six significant digits. Original accepted amounts are shown separately without that display shortening.
| Ingredient name | Original amount | Rescaled amount |
|---|---|---|
| Flour | 300 g | 450 g |
| Milk | 200 ml | 300 ml |
| Eggs | 2 pieces | 3 pieces |
How the estimate works
For the same portion size, divide desired servings by original servings. Multiply each original ingredient amount by that factor. Each row keeps its own unit; unlike units are not added together.
k = N ÷ O
q′ = q × N ÷ OThis is proportional arithmetic, not a validated recipe. It does not adjust flavour, leavening, cooking time, temperature or food safety. Check the changed recipe separately; fractional piece amounts are accepted.
